The game was attended by President Trump & First Lady Melania Trump. Holstine said she was motivated to kneel in support of ’individuals who are not being supported’.
A man charged with killing his wife, three children and dog in their Florida home is now being investigated for health care fraud in Connecticut. According to court documents, Anthony Todt was being investigated for submitting fraudulent claims for physical therapy by the FBI. Todt has confessed to the slayings and is being held on the premeditated murder charges.
A man who has been accused of having sexually assaulted a teenage waitress at his wedding reception has been sentenced to probation. 32 year old Matthew Aimers of New Jersey pleaded guilty to charges of indecent exposure, simple assault and disorderly conduct.
A Florida woman who fed vultures, alligators and other wildlife behind her house, has agreed to pay $53,000 to settle a suit brought by the community’s property owners association. In approving the settlement, the court barred Irma Acosta Arya from further feedings. The association alleged that Acosta Arya’s feedings attracted vultures, raccoons, alligators and a bobcat, since 2016.

A South Carolina woman has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for fatally poisoning her husband with eye drops. Lana Clayton, 53, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in connection with the July 2018 death of her husband Steven Clayton. Lana had initially said that Steven suffered from vertigo and tumbled down the stairs. Clayton was mad at her allegedly abusive husband.

Evelyn Yang, the wife of Andrew Yang, has revealed that she was sexually assaulted by her gynecologist while she was pregnant with her first child. Yang accused Columbia University Dr. Robert Hadden of assaulting her in 2012 during her first pregnancy. Yang said she discovered Hadden had been reported for sexual assault by another patient. Hadden was arrested in 2012 but the arrest was voided.
Florida’s Supreme Court ruled Thursday that convicted felons must pay fines and other fees related to their sentences before voting. The opinion sided with Republican Governor Ron DeSantis. In 2018, Florida voters approved a measure that amended the state’s constitution to give voting rights to 1.4 million former felons.
