Age discrimination suit over SAG-AFTRA Health Plan cuts filed by actors

A class action suit was filed by actor Ed Asner and nine other members of the SAG-AFTRA union against the union’s health care plan and its trustees. The actor and nine members have argued that slashes to benefits set to go into effect on Jan. 1 violate federal law, and also result in age discrimination. The suit was filed on Tuesday, in a federal court in California.

Read the article and don’t see “age discrimination” anywhere. Just standard reductions that we all are subject to since Obamacare flopped the table. Want something screwed up, get the government involved.

If you don’t like your union”s healthcare plan, recuse yourself from the union. Sorry even when it comes to those struggling work a day actors I couldn’t care less. Get a real job.
