Sierra Madre ecosystem allegedly under threat due to Trump’s border wall

As the Trump administration enters its final weeks, there is a rush to complete the border wall. However, the wall is posing a stiff challenge in the Sierra Madre, a mountainous corner where Arizona and New Mexico meet Mexico. Along with stopping the movement of people, the wall might also stop rare animals who go back and forth from Mexico to the U.S. where there is more water for them to drink.

Stop the wall! I like drugs. That's what comes through these parts that need them. Stop the wall !! I like criminals and those that don't want to come through the ordinary means. I want them to creep through people's neighborhoods that I don't live in. Stop the wall!! Some animals may be infringed. And yet some others may have much better lives because their predators are now cut off but let's not talk about that. Stop the wall!! I'm blinded politically so horrifically, that it's just a political thing to me because I'm incapable of being a pragmatic thinker anymore about important subjects.

Alternative headline "Drug and Human smuggling harms Sierra Madre Ecosystem "..... We live in a world of 24-7 propaganda. True reporting would investigate the impacts of all human activity in the area and report it without an agenda.

You know what else harms the ecosystem there? Thousands of illegals passing through there, trampling plants and strewing trash everywhere.

Oh well, too bad. Guess those animals will just have to stay on one side or the other. The endangered animals, too. Keep complaining all you want but that barrier has been effective at reducing the illegal aliens from crossing over.

As if the fact that it’s utterly worthless wasn’t bad enough, it may be causing serious problems within the local ecosystems that will be irreparable. US taxpayers paid billions for this.

They could just build an outpost and rig the area with motion sensors and cameras like they did Groom Lake.

It's ok they can just use the tunnels.

Believe it or not, the actual video didn't offer anymore information than the headline. Ladies and gentlemen: modern journalism.

This wouldn’t be a problem if we would just annex Mexico and apply our minimum wage and labor laws to its residents. Hard to need a fence if they don’t need to come here for living wages and food
