Seven COVID-19 deaths reported at nursing homes after staffers attend wedding
Seven elderly residents at three Washington state nursing homes have died in a coronavirus outbreak possibly linked to staff who attended a large November wedding, health officials said. The outbreak was reported on Nov. 20, and the residents — men in their 70s, 80s, and 90s — all had underlying conditions. An investigation found that several staffers had attended a wedding in Ritzville on Nov. 7.
