Biden picks California attorney general Xavier Becerra as health secretary
President-elect Joe Biden has reportedly picked California Attorney General Xavier Becerra to be his health secretary. If confirmed by the Senate, Becerra, 62, would be the first Latino to lead the US Department of Health and Human Services. Separately, Biden picked a Harvard infectious disease expert, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, to head the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Because he's handled crimes in California so well, let's apply the same standard to national health?
This doesn't make much sense. His specialty is protecting bad cops and burying their allegations of misconduct and court cases. Weird.
Just wondering what's does a attorney general translate to knowing anything about the health department? This makes about as much sense as asking a plumber to build you a new deck in your back yard........
