The Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency’s Hayabusa2 probe on Saturday sent a capsule back to Earth filled with what scientists hope is a sample of the asteroid Ryugu, about 300 million kilometers from Earth. Scientists expect the samples, which are no more than 0.1 grams of material, could help shed light on the origin of life and the formation of the universe.
It brought covid-20....hide in your hidey holes.
I am impressed that a device can get out to an asteroid, take a sample, then swing back close enough to drop off the sample.
Wonder what the world would be like if Japan had not been at war but in full scale tech development back then.
