Hero’s funeral given to teen who beheaded French teacher
18 year old Abdullakh Anzorov, who was involved in the beheading of French teacher Samuel Paty, 47, received a hero’s funeral attended by hundreds of people in his native Chechnya. Anzorov was killed by the police. Paty’s beheading took place in response to him showing his students cartoons of Prophet Muhammad as a way of discussing freedom of speech in a class discussion.
This is the problem. We want to be able to say that we can take in refugees. We want to be able to say that it's okay for everyone to come. But...when the same people we supported behead us because we showed a picture of Mohammed literally in a lesson about free speech in a school...how can we let people in? How can we say that it's safe?
In a society where you're supposed to respect other people's beliefs there is no excuse killing somebody because they showed you an offensive drawing
