Danny Presti, the Staten Island bar co-owner who kept his pub – Mac’s Public House – open in defiance of New York City’s Covid-19 curbs insisted that he did ’nothing wrong’ after being charged with hitting an officer with his car during an arrest. Speaking to media, Presti said, ’I’ve nothing but respect for the NYPD and other law enforcement,’ adding that a probe will find he did ’nothing wrong.’
