USAF lab identifies remains of some Pearl Harbor sailors, brings closure to kin

As a part of its 5-year effort to identify those who went missing while serving on the USS Oklahoma, a warship that capsized during the December 7, 1941 Pearl Harbor attacks, experts at Offutt Air Force Base have identified the remains of Nebraska and Iowa sailors using DNA and other modern tech. Now, the remains will be sent to their homes, bringing a closure to their families after 79 years.
