With the United States bracing for another surge of coronavirus infections during the upcoming holidays, residents of California faced a raft of new restrictions aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19. A ban on indoor dining also loomed in New York City to contain the COVID-19 spread. California Governor Gavin Newsom issued the order on Thursday, which does not immediately cover the entire state.
