Newly sworn-in LA County District Attorney Gascón unveiled an ambitious agenda on Monday including the end of cash bail for many offenses, and not seeking the death penalty. Gascón took over for outgoing District Attorney Jackie Lacey after she lost her re-election bid. He vowed to stop charging juveniles as adults, besides reopening four investigations of controversial shootings by police.

The partial lifting of the death penalty was the big surprise.
Things just keep getting better in L.A. , and by better I mean the train wreck that keeps on giving. You Angelinos keep voting for this, it’s what you will keep on getting. Just do me a favor and don’t move to Texas when you finally get some sand back in you. God knows you won’t stay there and unscrew your screwups.
