Apple to launch new Mac processors as early as next year, reports say

Apple is planning to launch a series of new Mac processors as early as 2021 that are aimed to beat Intel’s fastest, several media outlets reported citing chip engineers working in the company, who were not authorized to speak publicly on this issue. The reports said engineers were currently working on several successors to the M1 chip, Apple’s first Mac main processor that launched in November.
