Armenia protesters demand prime minister’s resignation, block traffic

Thousands of protesters blocked traffic in the Armenian capital, Yerevan, demanding the resignation of the country’s prime minister over his handling of the conflict with Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh. The Armenian opposition has been calling for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to quit ever since he signed a ’humiliating’ deal to end the deadly conflict that nearly routed the Armenian military.
