Facebook faces antitrust allegations over deals for Instagram & WhatsApp

The Federal Trade Commission says Facebook is too powerful. FTC stated Facebook will use its control to damage consumers privacy & limit the consumer’s choices. The asking price is, $1 billion for the cost of Instagram in 2012 & $19 Billion is for the purchase of WhatsApp in 2014. The CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg said he would battle the government if needed.
