The Senate has approved President Trump’s nominee to become a member of the Federal Communications Commission. The vote Tuesday was 49-46 along party lines to confirm Nathan Simington as one of five commissioners of the agency. With Simington confirmed to the five-member FCC, there will then be a 2-2 split between Democratic and Republican commissioners.
If loyalty to the president is now a reason NOT to confirm people everyone everywhere under every administration would have to resign. Gotta love politicians. ‘ I don’t want him, he is loyal to the president turns into ‘I want a person whose loyal to my president ‘
