Biden to nominate Fudge for HUD secretary: Reports

According to reports, Joe Biden is set to nominate Rep. Marcia Fudge to head the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This is yet to be confirmed. Rep. James Clyburn had earlier expressed confidence that Fudge would land a spot in the incoming administration. If confirmed to lead HUD, a special election would be held in Fudge’s Cleveland-area House district.
