Women accuse school district of ignoring ’sexual abuse’; file $15M claim
Two women have filed a $15M lawsuit against a California school accusing it of allowing a former teacher to sexually abuse them in 1996. The teacher was put on administrative leave after the accusation was made but was not charged. He committed suicide two days later. The women allege that there were multiple complaints against the teacher prior to the school’s action but were not acted upon.
