F-16 fighter jet crashes in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, pilot missing

The Wisconsin National Guard reported that the whereabouts of a pilot of a single-seat F-16 fighter jet that crashed in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula on Tuesday night remain unknown, even as rescue workers continue to search the area. The F-16 Fighting Falcon, which had been assigned to the Wisconsin Air National Guard’s 115th Fighter Wing was on a routine training mission when the crash took place.
