Rich nations hoard vaccines, 9 out of 10 in poor nations may not get Covid jabs

The People’s Vaccine Alliance – a coalition of organizations and activists – warned that 90% of the people in 70 poor nations may not get the Covid-19 jab in 2021 as the west has bought most of the top vaccine candidates as of now. It said rich countries with 14% of the world’s population have secured 53% of those vaccines. Canada has bought doses that could vaccinate its population 5 times over.
