Russians criticized the Sputnik V vaccine after a Russian official issued a health warning that alcohol should be given up for almost two months if anyone gets vaccinated. The request has been called as being unreasonable by Russians. According to an advice by Anna Popova, the consumer health watchdog, before getting the first two injections, people should stop drinking alcohol for two weeks.
Yeah asking Russians not to drink, that's a big ask
I thought that was the vaccine. Sputnik Vodka ftw.
Uhmmm? Russians are 50% alcohol
The "Sputnik Vaccine" is injectable Russian Polonia-Flavored Kool-Aid
It's obvious, not a good idea mixing vodka with other alcoholic beverages.
No drinking. But what about injecting?
So ... No vaccines for Russians then?
I wonder if all this jolly good commenting on Russian people and alcohol is in fact blatant racism. I am quite sure it is indeed.
That's like saying, you cant mix breathing with taking the vaccine
Are...they... *drinking* it? I mean HOW...?
Hmm think that might be a problem...
Does that include Vodka?
Does this include the alcohol whipes to clean the area before Injection? Asking for a friend.
That's good to be hard for them lol
Russian isn't a race it's a nationality with a a drinking culture. Just as Jamaicans 'take it easy and smoke weed' its s generalization but probably has some truth to it and isnt necessarily offensive. Russians are also frequently portrayed as scientists and astronauts. Is that racism too?
