Trump and 17 states back Texas lawsuit alleging election was unconstitutional

Seventeen states filed an amicus brief Wednesday supporting the state of Texas’s lawsuit — filed directly to the US Supreme Court — which targets Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin over claims that the changes made by the states to voting procedures amid the pandemic were unlawful. Trump has also filed a motion with the court asking to let him become a plaintiff in the suit.

Funny how the news sites claim this undermines the integrity of the US election yet 2 years of "Russian election meddling" was just fine. So tired of the lefts hypocrisy and double standards. So tired of the MSMs lies and actual election interference. It is obvious, to those that bother to look, they are owned by the communist Chinese.

This story about the Texas election improprieties suit presented to SCOTUS and joined by 17 more States is by far the biggest story of day and week. Yet the mainstream media buries it. The SCOTUS WILL hear this suit especially given the number of states involved. And they can well agree to the proposed remedies at which point Biden is toast and Trump is POTUS again. Yet the deep state and their media and tech marionetes are acting like the 3 monkies who see, hear and speak nothing about this earth shaking development. Shame on you. At least 75 mill people and possibly many Democrat voters as well want to get to the truth and the bottom of these irregularities in our election. We deserve to know what happened and to be able to trust our elections.

All the crazy we have seen in the last 4yrs, but this is the craziest. No AG of any State should call out other States, just to get brownie points and pardon from Trump. The Republicans AG of theses States are making false claims to get a Dictator, a Deceiver, a Liar and a Divider back in the White House. Now that's Sad.Trump is the worsted this thing that ever happen to America. I pray to God that the Supreme Court Denied this also.

I doubt the Supreme Court with even hear this case. They generally stay as far away from state authority cases (ie., state election rules) as they can.

I love how the “defenders” of states rights are now suing states because they do not think states should decide how to conduct their elections this is hilarious...

All states have certified. All legal battles are closed. The electoral college is prepared to vote.

I read the brief. A masterpiece. Opening declaration was perfect. Either the constitution is the ultimate document from which law is derived or it's a worthless piece of paper. The constitution is clear on how the laws governing the election should have been passed. These states didn't follow that

It's Ground Hog Day all over again. It's the true definition of Insanity - Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting difference results. All but 1 of Trump's court cases has been reject. Even the Supreme Court took only 39 minutes to issue a one sentence denial. No where else to go. It's over. Start getting your popcorn ready for January 20th.😂🇨🇦

People need to learn their history. Our system is specifically designed against this crud because THIS is how Hitler took over Germany.

Just remember these 17 states are all republican run so no surprise at all. But yet again trump is trying to STEAL the election from biden. This will not stand and I will bet money nothing will change. It will just make trump the Ultimate loser. Like watching him fail at every turn is just pure joy that I feel.

Can not change the certification and as all state’s have certified the election it will and would be a crime and a act of war.

This all started because the TX AG needs a pardon because the FBI have caught him in a huge fraud. The other republican AG"s just make the US look like a banana republic, we didn't win we want a redo complete BS

The media really messed up with this one. Instead of covering the progression of these lawsuits objectively they brainwashed a vast group of people to immediately disregard any lawsuit put forth and act as if what Trump is doing is "damaging" our democracy. Yes, many suits were tossed out, but that doesn't matter. The most important one is going to SCOTUS and that's precisely what Trump needed. This story was so blatantly manipulated I don't know why people have a hard time realizing they're being lied to.

I find it funny how a lot of conservatives that support Trump also say they support States Rights but now that they lost the election they are so keen on saying that it was an unlawful election Ironic. They made fun of the democrats for losing in 2016 while the democrats threw a tantrum claiming Russian Meddling now the shoe is on the other foot. Democrats are making fun of the Republicans for throwing a tantrum claiming the election was unlawful just proving the hypocrisy and idiotic natural of both political factions

Trump and the seventeen states will find that their Nazi tactics will fail. States rights will prevail against this evil attempt to overthrow a LEGITIMATE election.
