Support for Obamacare at record high: Gallup poll

Support for Obamacare at record high: Gallup poll

According to a new poll by Gallup, support for ObamaCare is at a record high of 55%, more than what it was when former President Obama was in office. The latest poll comes as the coronavirus pandemic continues to grip the nation, and cases have surged nationwide as the death toll approaches 300,000. 60% of Republicans polled disapproved of ObamaCare. Pollsters surveyed 1,018 American adults.

Yeah, 55% of that 1,018 people sample size. Now try asking more people, in all circles of US life; and see what the statistics say then.

Support for the biggest healthcare disaster of my lifetime? What could they possibly be approving of? The massively inflated premium costs? The massively increased deductibles? The reduction in necessary medical supplies covered? I'm sick of watching my paraplegic father struggle to get his supplies because Obamacare plans have destroyed his coverage. Sure they made sure everyone would insure him, but it costed him having insurance that actually did something. Now he has double the premiums and even more than double the deductible since Obamacare passed. I can't imagine anyone that is satisfied with it when older folks with pre-existing conditions are not even being taken care of under this plan.🤷🏾‍♂️

90% of Dems and a majority of Republicans support Medicare4All... poll after poll. Romneycare just didn't work.

Thats because nobody has had to pay for not being insured for the last 3 years. Put the mandate back in and watch the approval tank

The covid testing and covid vaccine are not covered under the ACA. So I don't understand how covid is proof we need to keep the ACA.

Here is the part they do not tell you until the bottom of the page and the fine print. Even more people on both sides think the ACA needs to be changed. Republicans prefer having the entire thing thrown out and have something else put into place. Democrats prefer trying to fix the ACA. SURVEY METHODS Results for this Gallup poll are based on telephone interviews conducted Nov. 5-19, 2020, with a random sample of 1,018 adults, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. For results based on the total sample of national adults, the margin of sampling error is ±4 percentage points at the 95% confidence level. All reported margins of sampling error include computed design effects for weighting.

Pre AHCA Deductable $500 annually Monthly family premium >$150 month Covered 75- 90% of everything then 100% after deductable in network. Post AHCA Deductable $11,000 income less the $75k a year, no pre existing conditions. Monthly family premium <$350 month Covered 100% of preventive medical 70% of pre existing or 25% of other untill Deductable met. Yeah I'm 100% behind canceling AHCA! The pre existing conditions can co back to government backed cleance houses like before!

Nice try corporatists, meanwhile 72% of Americans support M4A. This is a very small sample size of people.

Sheeple do want that crap.

Support in a poll won't make it constitutional.

@ConcealCarry Maybe you should look into statistics and how accurate polls are. This one is +-4%. So it could be only 51% of people are actually for it, or 59% are.

And the cold hearted republicans have not been able to come up with anything better than the ACA. Yes! Delusionals. Many people including the health care system rely on staying around.

Believing in polls is like believing in the tooth fairy . Especially the Gallup poll .

A majority of a tiny pool of people is not evidence of the population at large. Misleading poll.
