World carbon dioxide emissions drop 7% in pandemic-hit 2020
The world saw a 7% fall in CO2 emission this year, the biggest annual drop ever recorded, preliminary figures by The Global Carbon Project have shown. The project calculated that the world will have put 37 billion US tons of carbon dioxide in the air in 2020. That’s down from 40.1 billion US tons in 2019. Scientists attributed the pandemic-induced lockdowns across the world to the fall.

Saflu this does only reduce the increase in CO2 level but not the absolute C-02 level. The lack of scientific background in some of the comments give little hope for our survival.
