Controversy stirred in Lebanon following charges in Beirut port blast
Charges of negligence which have been levelled against the caretaker PM of Lebanon along with three former ministers have been rallied against by the Hezbollah group and top Lebanese politicians. The decision by the investigating judge Fadi Sawan has been called as being ’political targeting’ by Hezbollah as the group claimed that the decision lacked a legal and constitutional basis.
