Uighur family freed after three years, reunited in Australia
An Uighur man in Australia has been reunited with his family after three years. On Thursday, Australian citizen Sadam Abudusalamu met with his wife Nadila Wumaier, and son in Sydney. The family was allowed to leave China following diplomatic negotiations. Chinese authorities said in February that the couple’s marriage was not recognized under Chinese law and Wumaier wished to remain in China.
