The Supreme Court rejected Texas’ legal challenge to Biden’s win

The Supreme Court rejected the Texas suit against 4 swing-states arguing the states did not follow their own election laws. The court rejected the complaint saying, ’Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections,’ in their court order. Justice Alito and Thomas also revealed they would not provide relief to Texas in anyway.

Republicans consistently argue for state’s rights—how can they justify arguing for states to decide other states rights? That essentially negates state’s rights and may as well be decided by only a federal government completely contradicting their stance...not that they are wise enough to acknowledge this. “Initial reaction to the Texas suit, however, has been dismissive at best. Texas Sen. John Cornyn, the GOP Senate whip, told CNN that he "frankly struggle[d] to understand the legal theory" of the suit, noting that election disputes in our system are "decided at the state and local level and not at the national level." “The Texas suit had other problems. First is the question of legal standing. Essentially, how do Texas, or the states joining it, have legal standing to complain about the procedures for voting and counting votes in other states?”
