South Korean President warns of toughest restrictions yet to curb COVID spread

Moon Jae-in, the President of South Korea warned on Sunday that restrictions related to COVID-19 may be raised to the highest level, after the country saw over 1,000 new cases in two days, the largest increase since March. South Korea is battling a severe third wave of coronavirus infections. The South Korean President also urged vigilance, and said all-out efforts were needed to contain COVID-19.
