Codemasters to be acquired for $1.2 billion by EA

Electronic Arts is set to enter into a bidding war with Take-Two Interactive to acquire Codemasters after EA bid a whopping $1.2 billion. Codemasters is mainly known for their Grid racing series such as Dirt and F1. If it goes through, the deal is going to be one of the biggest and the latest acquisition by EA following their 2017 purchase of Respawn Entertainment for $455 million.
