Research scientist Tommy Thompson is about to mark his fifth year in prison after he refused to disclose the whereabouts of 500 missing coins made from gold which were found in an historic shipwreck. The former deep-sea treasure hunter is being held in contempt of court for well past the normal maximum limit of an 18-month internment in cases of witnesses refusing to cooperate.
According to the ACLU debtor prisons were abolished in the US nearly two centuries ago. Yeah, sure. Some on the public payroll so called "judge" knows how to get around that.
FINDERS KEEPERS
Wait.... 5 years for contempt?? Jeez
Ah yes BLM is going to assemble outside the prison any moment now to protest this unjust incarceration.
