Over 300 students still missing after attack in northwestern Nigeria school

More than 300 students are still unaccounted for after the attack on the Government Science Secondary School – a boys’ school – in northwest Nigeria’s Katsina State, on Friday. The government said ’bandits’ were behind the attack and it launched a joint search and rescue operation comprising the police, army and air force. Around 800 students were in the school when the attack took place.
