Palau, the tiny island nation in the South Pacific, detained a Chinese fishing vessel and its 28-member crew. Palau authorities said the boat was illegally harvesting sea cucumber in the country’s territorial waters at Helen Reef when it was intercepted by a patrol boat and escorted to the main island of Koror. The incident has created diplomatic situation for Palau, which is allied to Taiwan.
Ah Palau, one of those countries who's defense policy is "they can't invade us if they don't know where we are." Here's to you and everyone else that pricks the CCP.
So malaysia wont stand up to China but this tiny island will? Wow....
What a nice story.
Way to go, Palau! If only other countries in the Pacific and Southeast Asia can follow suit, that will keep China in check.
