A report by Japanese news outlet Nikkei resulted in Apple’s shares to surge by up to 4% as it was reported that the first half of 2021 will see production for the iPhone to increase by 30%. Between January and June next year, up to 96 million iPhones are set to be produced by the Cupertino firm. Models such as the iPhone SE, 5G compatible iPhone 12 models and the iPhone 11 will be included.
