Japan space agency confirms successful collection of samples from asteroid Ryugu

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency confirmed its mission succeeded in collecting material from the asteroid Ryugu. It said the sample in gaseous form inside the collector was different from the atmospheric composition of Earth. The Extraterrestrial Sample Curation Center in Australia also confirmed it. This is the world’s first sample return of a material in the gas state from deep space.
