Mexico’s President congratulates Joe Biden on election victory
Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the President of Mexico congratulated President-elect Joe Biden for winning the 2020 presidential election. The wishes have come weeks after several other global leaders have extended their wishes to Mr. Biden. Previously, AMLO had faced criticism for his refusal to recognize Biden’s win. Russia’s Putin and Brazil’s Bolsonaro have also recently congratulated Biden.
