Had a ’good conversation’ with Mitch McConnell: Joe Biden
President-elect Joe Biden announced that he spoke with Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader. This is the first known conversation between the two leaders since the 2020 presidential elections took place. Biden said he had had a ’good conversation’ with McConnell, and said he had called the latter to thank him for remarks made on the Senate floor congratulating Biden for his victory.
