Facebook said it will lift the ban on political ads in Georgia ahead of two January 5 runoff elections that will decide which party controls the US Senate. Facebook decided to lift the ban on Wednesday and said it made the exception after hearing from advertisers and experts. The company and the Google banned temporarily banned US political ads after Election Day on November 3.
