The Minnesota pardons panel commuted the life sentence of Myon Burrell, a black man who was convicted as a minor for killing an 11-year-old girl. A stray bullet had hit the girl inside her family’s Minneapolis home. A probe by AP and American Public Media uncovered new evidence and revealed numerous failures in the Minneapolis police’s handling of the case. Burrell always maintained his innocence.
Look if the police can't do their job right then people go free and that little girls family will never have justice. They didn't collect any DNA, finger print evidence, didn't check alibis, tried to pay for information, and used couched jail house informants. Hold the police accountable and stop blaming the government for following the law.
Wtf is he wearing? Lmao
Police had mismanaged the case badly
Sounds like my state this year. Black male fires stray and kiIIs a child. #BLM. Pardon. Can we not.
