Mexico passed a new law that curbs activities and strips immunity of foreign law-enforcement agents in the country. Although the law doesn’t target a particular country, it is seen as a rebuke to the US, whose law-enforcement agents operate in Mexico, especially in anti-narcotics operations. It comes soon after the arrest of a former Mexican defense official in the US, who has been released now.
Let's be real the DEA is probably the most corrupt law enforcement in the US. Maybe if Mexico could handle it's own cartels the us wouldn't have to be involved. You can just look at when the Mexican army surrendered to El chopo's cartel.
