Venezuela using draconian ’hate’ law to silence Maduro’s critics, report says
A Reuters report revealed that Venezuela is using the rarely used draconian ’Law Against Hate’, which was passed in 2017, to silence critics of President Nicolas Maduro. The law criminalizes actions that ’incite hatred’ against a person or group. Now, the government is invoking it against its critics. Over 40 arrests have been made under the law that provides for prison terms of up to 20 years.
After Biden dies or resigns next year this will be used to silence criticism of President Harris.

This is why Hate Speech Laws should never exist anywhere. Once the government has the power to regulate speech, ANYTHING can be deemed hate speech by those in charge, and thus censorship begins.
He should get in contact with FB, YouTube and Twitter. They could probably help him fine-tune that law!
