Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife MacKenzie Scott gives away $4B to charity

MacKenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has donated more than $4B to food banks and emergency relief funds in four months. Scott is the world’s 18th-richest person with a wealth of $60.7B. In a blog post, Scott said donations were focused on those ’operating in communities facing high projected food insecurity, high measures of racial inequity, high local poverty rates.’
