Kenya national charged with plotting 9/11 style attack on US

An indictment was unsealed by federal authorities, as they charged 30 year old Cholo Abdi Abdullah, a Kenyan man, with trying to stage a 9/11-style attack on the United States. Abdullah was reportedly trying to conduct the attack on behalf of the terrorist organization al-Shabab. He was transferred to U.S. custody on charges he conspired to hijack an aircraft and slam it into a building.
