28 malicious Chrome and Edge extensions identified by researchers

28 browser extensions have been discovered by researchers for both Chrome and Edge, and it has been claimed that these extensions contain malicious code. These plug-ins have reportedly been installed by more than three million people. Some of these extensions have been active since December 2018. A range of malicious activities are performed via these extensions.
