Salary support program to contain unemployment extended by UK government

The government of Great Britain announced that it would extend its salary support program by another month through to the end of April. The government is currently trying to keep a check on unemployment as coronavirus restrictions slam businesses. The government will carry on paying 80 percent of the salaries of those workers retained by firms rather than fired.
