Maradona’s body must be conserved for DNA test in paternity case, judge rules

An Argentine court has ordered for the preservation of football legend Diego Maradona’s body for DNA tests needed in a paternity case filed by Magali Gil – a 25-year-old woman. Maradona, who died aged 60 in November, was buried near Buenos Aires. At that time, a judge ruled against cremating his body until forensic tests were completed in the case. The latest ruling extends it indefinitely.
