Myon Burrell, a man who was sentenced to life imprisonment for killing a girl struck by a stray bullet in 2002 has had his sentence commuted to 20 years. Burrell is now required to serve the remainder of his sentence on supervised release. The 34 year old faced conviction in the 2003 murder of 11 year old Tyesha Edwards. He was imprisoned as a teenager, and spent nearly 20 years in jail.
