Michael Regan, a long time Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) insider might be tapped by President-elect Joe Biden to lead the agency. 44 year old Regan is the secretary for North Carolina’s Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), currently. He will also become the first Black man to hold the role of EPA chief. He earlier worked for the EPA under the Clinton and George Bush administrations.
