OneWeb, Starlink rival, launches 36 satellites from Russia

OneWeb, a company owned by the UK government and Bharti Enterprises of India, launched its fourth batch of satellites from Russia’s Vostochny Cosmodrome riding on a Russian Soyuz rocket. The latest 36 satellites will add up to its constellation in low-Earth orbit, which eventually will provide broadband internet access around the globe. OneWeb is a competitor of SpaceX’s Starlink.
