One in five inmates in the US has had COVID-19, over 1,700 have died

According to reports, one in every five state and federal prisoners in the US has tested positive for COVID-19, a rate more than four times as high as the general population. At least 275,000 prisoners have been infected, and more than 1,700 have died. Nearly 5,100 prisoners have become infected in Kansas prisons, the third-highest COVID-19 rate in the country, behind South Dakota and Arkansas.

Literal do not care.. though some are innocent (and should be free) if your in prison then your a prisoner, period... and should be treated as such.. stop wasting tax dollars on murderers etc. And put it to the bottomless pit called the homeless problem

Part of the obligations of a prison system is maintaining the health of inmates. Should prisoners be first in line to get vaccines? Probably not. But should they be eligible to receive it at a given point? Absolutely. Especially older inmates. Prisoners are typically serving time because they didn't get a death sentence, and thus don't deserve one.
