Congress seals deal on $900B relief package, including $600 direct payments

Congress reached a deal Sunday on a roughly $900bn coronavirus relief package, including a new round of $600 stimulus checks for Americans with yearly incomes of up to $75,000. The agreement would establish a temporary $300 per week supplemental jobless benefits, along with a new round of subsidies for hard-hit businesses and money for schools, health care providers and renters facing eviction.

Yeah, the average citizen gets a chump check for $600 while those in Congress get a juicy raise and a reduction in how many days they have to work. There's a reason why Congress' approval rating is far worse than Trump's.

$600 is 1 week of work on minimum wage in WA state. Pathetic.
