Biden lauds lawmakers as deal reached on compromise COVID relief package

President-elect Joe Biden cheered the efforts of the much divided House and Senate, as lawmakers came together and pushed forward with a compromise COVID relief package. Mr. Biden, however, warned that it was ’just the beginning.’ ’Immediately, starting in the new year, Congress will need to get to work on support for our COVID-19 plan, for support to struggling families,’ Biden said.
